Our Principal
Dear Davis Community,
I am honored to serve the amazing students, parents, staff and community members of Davis Elementary! As your principal, I look forward to ensuring continuous growth and success for all students at Davis Elementary.
Serving as an educator since 2012 has afforded me several opportunities to work with astounding students and teachers. I have served as a classroom teacher, interventionist, instructional coach, and assistant principal. My educational journey includes a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education (Langston University) and a Masters in Executive Business Administration (Texas Woman’s University).
My focus is on building relationships and engaging students in order to grow strong individuals with an intrinsic motivation toward learning and success. I also understand the need for continued support for teachers who need access to high-quality resources to contribute to comprehensive and ever-improving instructional practices that will guide our students to meet and exceed their individual potential.
I look forward to working side-by-side with our Davis families and staff to continue the great success that Davis has displayed throughout the years! If I can assist you in any way, please come see me.

Our Assistant Principal
Dear Davis Elementary Families,
Greetings! My name is Lilly Sifonte, and I am privileged to support Davis Elementary as the new Assistant Principal for the 2023 - 2024 school year! It is an honor to work for a multicultural campus and learn more about our students, their cultures, and their academic achievements!
I have been in the educational field for approximately eighteen years. I served students, teachers, and community members in different roles, such as Bilingual Classroom Teacher, Team Leader, Title I Support Teacher, and Instructional Coach.
I earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus, and a master’s degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. In 2021, I started the Principal as Instructional Leader Program at UTA and obtained my certification in 2022.
On a personal note, I enjoy spending time with my husband and my two sons when I am not at school. We are a multicultural family and enjoy and celebrate diversity!

Our School Nurse
Hello! My name is Whitney Palmer, and I am so excited to be the school nurse at Davis! I received my Bachelor's degree in Nursing from UTA in 2015, and have worked my entire career in pediatric nursing. It is so rewarding! In my off time, I enjoy singing, swimming, riding bikes, gardening, and doing puzzles...as well as taking care of my 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 6 chickens! I am looking forward to a great upcoming school year at Davis!
