Kinder and First graders are allowed to check out one book per week. After winter break, first graders will be allowed to check out two books.

2nd-5th grades will check out two books per week.

Early Open Check-out with a library pass for grades 3, 4 & 5 is from 7:40a.m.-8:00a.m. Monday-Friday

Parents

Students have the opportunity to read 2x2 and Bluebonnet books. When they read they earn prizes and rewards. Make sure to login to your google account before you access the link.

Click here for our reading program guide.

Parents are invited to check out books from the library to read at home with your child. All you need to do is set up a parent account with the Librarian and you can check out books to take home. The hours for parent checkout are 7:40a.m.-8:00a.m. Monday-Friday

Tips from the librarian

Please keep library books in backpacks when they are not being read. This way, their books will be with them on their library day, and they will be able to check out new ones.

Books should be brought back to the library weekly to turn in for new ones or renew to keep longer.  After two weeks a book is considered overdue if it has not been renewed.

If the book is lost or damaged, please let us know.  We will send a notice of the book's cost if it is lost or if we cannot repair it so that we may replace the book.   If you find the lost book within 1 year, you will get your money back.

Chess & checkers in the Library!

Do you enjoy playing chess or checkers? If so, 3rd - 5th Graders who are interested may join us in the library for a game filled morning from 7:40a.m.-8:00a.m. Tuesday -Thursday.
