This is my 20th year in education and my 3rd year as the proud principal of Ethridge Elementary. I earned my bachelor's degree from Midwestern State University and my master's degree of Educational Leadership from Lamar University. I am a proud Bobcat committed to serving the students, staff and families at Ethridge.

Assistant Principal
I am starting my 12th year in education and my first year as an assistant principal at Ethridge Elementary. I graduated with my undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Dallas and a graduate degree from Concordia University Texas. I am a proud Bobcat and love the students I serve!

Debra Pike
Assistant Principal
Mrs. Pike is a proud graduate of the GISD, and through the Future Teacher Internship at South Garland High School she learned the joy in teaching the future leaders of our community. She earned her Associates in Liberal Arts of Education from Trinity Valley Community College in Terrell, Texas (2008), her Bachelors of Interdisciplinary Sciences at Texas A&M University Commerce (2013), and her Masters of Education in Urban Education Leadership from Southern Methodist University (2022). Mrs. Pike taught in the GISD for eight years, and the 2024-2025 school year begins her fourth year as an Assistant Principal.
