Art Teacher

Meet the art teacher, Mr. Solorzano

Ethridge Art Club provide students with opportunities to increase their artistic skills and creativity as well as involve them in a worthwhile school activity.  We participate in individual, school-wide, and community projects, which will increases each student’s confidence as well as helps develop a sense of school and community pride.

5th grade street art name tags

5th grade explored the work of various street artists and designed their own unique street art tags.

4th grade zentangle mountain landscape artwork

4th grade reviewed how artists use line and shape, then created their own zentangle mountain landscapes.

3rd grade cityscape art

3rd grade explored geometric and organic shapes and created a cityscape inspired by artist Paul Klee.

 

 

Music

Meet the music teacher, Mrs. Orozco

The Ethridge music program nurtures creativity, teamwork, and a lifelong appreciation for music. Students explore rhythm, melody, and movement through singing, playing instruments, and engaging in musical activities. Lessons incorporate foundational music theory, performance skills, and cultural appreciation to build confidence and musical understanding at each grade level.

Be a Garland ISD VIP
