Arrival

The school day begins at 8:10 a.m.

Students may begin arriving at 7:30 a.m.  When arriving to school before 7:55 a.m., students report to the following locations according to grade level:

Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten: Gym

1st Grade:  Library

2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th Grade:  Cafeteria

 

Students need to have a book to read while they are waiting to be dismissed for breakfast in the classroom.

Breakfast begins in the classroom at 7:55 a.m. 

Dismissal

The school day ends at 3:30 p.m.  Any student that does not get picked up by 3:45 will be taken into the building and will call home.  When the child is picked up, the person picking up the child will need to come into the building with their license and sign the student out.  Please be on time when picking up your child.

Changing the way a student goes home

If there is a change in how a student goes home parents/guardians must:

• write a note stating how the child/children will go home
• call the office to communicate a change in after school transportation before 2:30 p.m. 
• when calling, you must verify your child/children with their student ID number.

Students will not be allowed to change their dismissal procedures without a note or phone call from parent.
