Juniors and seniors, it's time to get ready for the SAT and/or TSI-A. This is your chance to show colleges that you're ready and avoid expensive remediation classes.

Calendar

This Credit by Exam is reserved only for students who have registered by the Nov 22 deadline.

Tests like the Credit by Exam give 1-12 graders the chance to test out of curriculum dependent on age and score. Students have the opportunity to prove mastery in course requirements like language and earn course credit. Younger students may have the opportunity to move up grade levels.

Attend our Saturday Study Sessions to conquer your AP exams. See how you can qualify for the district to pay for the exam.

Students will hone their social studies skills at this event and get prepared and practiced for the upcoming tests.

Morning session: 9 a.m.-12:10 p.m.
Afternoon session: 1-4:10 p.m. 

Gladiator Saturdays will cover: 

  • Human Geography
  • Economics
  • Government
  • World History
  • U.S. History
  • Psychology

Bus transportation will be provided from your home campus to NFHS.

*Students must attend both the Dec. 7 and April 4 sessions in order to qualify for the district to pay for the exam.

  • Test preparation for EOC’s, STAAR Tests, and even TAKS
  • College Preparation & Career Planning
  • We can help you with completing your FASFA, RISING STAR, and College Applications

We even have English and Computer classes for your parents, also from 8:30 to 12:30.

Free snacks and door prizes will be available. 

Buses will transport students from each GISD HS to the study location. 

*Students must attend all 12 hours (3 Saturday Study Sessions) of a content area in order to qualify for the district to pay for the corresponding exam.
