Mrs. Wong is excited to be serving as an Assistant Principal at Garland High School! She has received a Bachelors of Science in Biological Science from University of California of Irvine and a Master in Education from University of California of Los Angeles. She began her educational career in 1997 in the Los Angeles Unified School District as a Science teacher. She moved to the DFW area and continued her career as a Science teacher at North Garland High School. In 2014, she joined Irving ISD as an Assistant Principal at MacArthur High School. She believes that it’s important to stand firm on the belief that every student can be successful. She also believes that it is crucial to be fair in the treatment of everyone and being flexible for the ability of meeting the needs of all those involved in the academic success of students. She is looking forward to an incredible year at Garland High School working with the students, parents, and faculty!
