I am your Responsive Service Counselor, Diana Richardson, I am excited to be part of your team! 

A little about me: 

I am a licensed master social worker. I have experience working as a Social Worker in the medical field and work with various populations struggling with mental health and substance abuse. I am thrilled to be part of Garland ISD. I am also fluent in Spanish (read, write and speak).

What we can do to help: 

Many of you have asked or are wondering what Responsive Services Counselors do and who they are. Our purpose is to address students whose personal circumstances, mental health, or crises interfere with a healthy academic and personal/social development. Services that we offer include crisis intervention, individual counseling, small group counseling, referrals, community programs and staff training.
