Eating lunch with your student

At this time we are not accepting any lunch visitors.

Free breakfast and lunch

Golden Meadows is proud to serve all students free breakfast and lunch. Students receive breakfast in the classroom every morning and lunch in the cafeteria in the afternoon. 

Parent workshops

The Family and Community Engagement Department will be hosting district wide family workshops this year.

Parent Workshops focus on a variety of topics related to your family, such as:

• Raising happy, confident children
• Managing behavior so families enjoy life more
• Rules and Routines that everyone respects and follows
• Encouraging behavior you like
• Taking care of yourself as a parent
• Feeling confident that you are doing the right thing

Join PTA

Your membership makes a difference! Your GM PTA has truly impacted the lives of all of our students. In the past, your PTA has provided school supplies and uniforms for students in need, bought playground equipment, sponsored guest speakers and helped out with the cost of school celebrations and picnics. Volunteer applications

Are you interested in being a volunteer at Golden Meadows this year? You can fill out a Garland ISD volunteer application online in English or Spanish and bring a United States identification card to our front office and . We would love to have you as a volunteer this school year! For more information regarding volunteering in GISD or the process visit the district webpage.

Box Tops For Education

Our school is collecting Box Tops. Please write your child's name on the back of any Box Tops you may have and send them to school. Participating in the Box Top collection program has made a big difference in our school. Box Tops help us purchase things for our school such as the new meeting rug in the library and recess equipment.
