-
Student must have excellent attendance at their home campus.
-
Student must not have any major discipline issues.
ID Badge
Your GRCTC ID badge and teal lanyard are required whenever you're on campus. Your home campus ID is not accepted. This policy ensures security by permitting only authorized individuals on school grounds.
Your first GRCTC ID badge and teal lanyard are free. A replacement ID is $5 and a replacement teal lanyard is $3. If your ID badge or teal lanyard is damaged, you can get a free replacement by bringing the damaged ID/lanyard to the front office.
Attendance
Attendance is very important to student success. In order to complete classes, earn credits, and learn, students need to be in class every day. GRCTC follows GISD attendance policies and procedures.
Tardiness
If you arrive late, please report to the office before heading to class. Please note that bringing outside food/drinks while tardy will mean it's held in the office until your break. Frequent lateness can lead to losing campus privileges such as parking, breaks and excessive tardiness could lead to detentions.
Professionalism
Our campus upholds high professionalism standards, guided by our Employability/Professionalism Rubric. This rubric, integral to our instructional approach, ensures students embody professionalism in various key areas: punctuality for appointments, timely assignment completion, and maintaining courteous, appropriate language and dress. It emphasizes the importance of collaborative interactions, focusing on group goals, and encourages students to make choices aligned with long-term objectives, particularly in their use of technology, over short-term gratification.
Online student services
Do you need to enroll your child, request a transfer, withdraw or request a transcript? It's easy to start common processes at home. Visit the Online Student Services page to get started.
If you need additional assistance with any of these services, please contact your student's home high school campus.
CTE nondiscrimination
All career and technical education (CTE) opportunities will be offered without regard to race, color, national origin, sex, or disability.
