Culinary Arts begin with the fundamentals and principles of the art of cooking and the science of cooking and baking. The course teaches management and production skills and techniques. The Culinary Arts program offers you the chance to learn what it takes to be successful in the Food Service industry in a hands-on environment. The program introduces the fundamentals of the art of cooking as well as advanced cooking techniques by exposing students to classical cuisines from around the globe. Menus and recipes are developed for the Bistro and Coffee Shop by students, and students are the ones who run the kitchen. All of this is done in our state of the art facility. Students are taught employability skills, which include job-specific skills applicable to their training plan, job interview techniques, communication skills, financial and budget activities, human relations, and portfolio development. Be exposed to the latest in food trends, work with the newest kitchen technology, and create your own culinary masterpieces under the guidance of instructors with more than 50 years experience in the industry.
