Our school, Handley STEM Elementary, is one of GISD’s Innovative Schools of Choice

Students in the STEM school have opportunities for hands-on learning and to participate in enrichment programs to explore various STEM challenges and activities.

The STEM school provides students with a strong foundation to enter the modern 21st century workplace. Students that graduate from a STEM program are innovative, critical thinkers, able to apply the skills learned in the classroom to real-world situations. Our goal at Handley STEM is to prepare students for future successes, empowering and developing them at an early age to graduate ready for college, careers, and life in a global economy.
