Special Education
We are committed to helping all students succeed, including those who may need additional support. Our campus has a dedicated student support team that works closely with families and staff to assist students who are experiencing academic or behavioral challenges.
We offer Special Education services right here on campus for most students who have an Individualized Education Plan (IEP). Our team of professionals work within ARD committees to create personalized programs and services that meet the unique needs of each student. This campus-based approach helps ensure students receive the support they need in a familiar and inclusive environment.
See below for the Special Education programs currently available at our school.

Special Education Programs
Dyslexia
We provide every student with tailored intervention and support that allows them to excel with dyslexia. Our goal is for every student with dyslexia to thrive academically through individual intervention, support and learning environments. For more information see the Dyslexia page of the district website.
Speech Therapy
Speech and language therapy is available to all students, ages three through twenty-one years enrolled in Garland ISD that meet district eligibility criteria as speech impaired. Through evaluation and intervention, the speech-language pathologist helps students with communication disorders in the areas of articulation, language, voice, and fluency.
