You and your entire extended family are invited to join the Herfurth PTA. With our teachers and parents working together, PTA is able to do many awesome things to support our children, families, and community. An active PTA is able to develop and sponsor programs, activities, and school projects.

When you join PTA with your annual dues, you have already helped our school. Your minimal dues help pay for school programs and activities. Not only does joining PTA help support school wide initiatives, but your participation in PTA activities allows you a chance to feel more connected to your child and the school.

Studies show that when parents and kids feel better connected and integrated into the school environments, students perform better socially, emotionally, and academically. It is so wonderful to see how proud kids get of their parents when they see your participation, connection, and interest in the school.

PTA is for EVERYONE. We look forward to welcoming you.

Herfurth PTA sponsors a yearly Pastries with Parents, an opportunity for families to breakfast together and have a souvenir button made.

Families get together to release their inner Picasso and create their own masterpiece to take home. 

Every year PTA sponsors the Pancakes with Santa event. Families have an opportunity to eat pancakes, shop a vendor fair, and have their child's picture made with "The Real Santa." Rowlett Fire Dept. always helps with the cooking too!
