Statistics in Schools-Shape My Community's Future

Students across the district get a lesson on shaping their community's future using real-life data from the U.S. Census Bureau.

March 2-6 is Statistics in Schools (SIS) Week, a nation-wide classroom exploration into real-world concepts. PreK-12 students will investigate a variety of topics using real-life data from the U.S. Census Bureau. SIS week will feature five days of classroom activities for students to learn about the census, as well as practice using statistics and data analysis skills.

Today, students end a week of learning about the Consensus with a lesson on how to shape the community's future using real-life concepts and data.

Visit our 2020 Census page to learn more about how the census helps your schools and communities.
