To help ensure a safe and respectful environment for guests, Garland ISD has put into effect a Clear Bag Policy for all GISD middle and high school athletic events and fine arts performances.

Athletics mission

Our mission is to help Hudson student-athletes achieve their goals and reach heights they cannot reach on their own. We strive to foster an environment that will instill the following pillars of success into our students:

Boys tryout for athletics each spring for the following school year. Sports offered at Hudson are football, basketball, track, and soccer. Coaches use the SportsYou website and app to communicate with parents and students.

Girls tryout for athletics each spring for the following school year. Girls sports offered at Hudson are volleyball, basketball, track, and soccer. The girls coaches also use SportsYou to communicate with athletes and parents.

Online forms

All athletics forms must be completed online before a student can participate. The GISD Athletic Department has transitioned to an online system for submitting pre-participation paperwork. Parents must complete and submit all athletic forms online through the GISD Parent Portal.
