Parent Involvement Policy

From GISD: We welcome and encourage parent involvement in school and district activities.  When parents are involved in education, children do better in school and schools improve. Our parent involvement policy explains how our district supports the important role that parents play in the education of their children.

Notice To Parents

When a child is absent, parents need to send a note from them, or a doctor, within three days of the child returning to school.

PARENTS: You may email absent notes to Ms. Claudia Rivas-Landin

Upcoming instructional model change selection period will be November 9- November 13, 2025.  New choice effective date will start January 5,02026.
