What is Pentathlon?

Seventh and eighth grade students compete in five areas: Math, Science, Social Studies, Novel and Super Quiz. Jackson students continue to win many awards each year at the district and regional levels. Jackson MST has made it to National Competition for last two years. One of only 4 Texas middle school teams we are very proud of our kids.
STEMformation Initiative
Jackson is one of only 3 middle schools in the state of Texas and one of only four in the United States to implement the STEMformation initiative. This program seeks to give middle school students rich experiences in STEM-related curriculum to prepare them for current and future STEM-related jobs. We are excited to partner with Discovery Education in the training of staff and delivery of curriculum and resources for students and parents! We continue to “GO BIG” at JTC!
National Junior Honor Society
NJHS is a service-oriented group. Students must complete an application for acceptance into the Society.
They must maintain at least at 85 GPA to be considered eligible for membership, and maintain that GPA to stay eligible throughout the year!
The students of NJHS work hard in their classes and are very passionate about the service projects they participate in throughout the year.
