Students collaborated and hit level 12 and completed over 174 growth mindset activities. Mrs. Hulkewicz was presented with a check for $5,000. STEMformation initiative

Stem formation presentation

Jackson is one of only 3 middle schools in the state of Texas and one of only four in the United States to implement the STEMformation initiative. This program seeks to give middle school students rich experiences in STEM-related curriculum to prepare them for current and future STEM-related jobs. Texas is projected to have almost 800,000 STEM-related jobs by 2018. We are excited to partner with Discovery Education in the training of staff and delivery of curriculum and resources for students and parents! We continue to “GO BIG” at JTC!
