Classes
Theatre 1 {Beginning Theatre} (6th-8th grade) --> The goal of Beginning Theatre is to introduce various aspects of performance and technical theatre operations with real world applications. This class is a participation/project-based course. This means that students will be expected to participate in class projects/ performances.
Theatre 2 {Advanced Theatre} (7th/8th grade): [Pre-Requisite = Theatre 1] --> The goal of Advanced Theatre is to continue studying/applying various aspects of performance / technical theatre operations with real world applications. This class is a participation/project-based course. This means that students will be expected to participate in class projects/ performances.
Theatre 3 {Theatre Production} (7th/8th grade): [ Pre-Requisite = Theatre 1 and/or 2; plus an audition/tech interview] --> The goal of Theatre Production (Theatre 3) is to continue studying/applying various aspects of performance / technical theatre operations with real world applications. For the 8th graders in this class, we’ll also be getting you prepared for the areas of study you’ll have at High School. This class is a participation/project-based course. This means that students will be expected to participate in class projects/ performances.
Competition
Theatre 3 {Theatre Production} competes in a One Act Middle School Festival every fall.

Each level of theatre does some sort of public performance for friends and family.

Ms. Roberts also coaches a speech/drama competitive team during Extended Day and has drama club on Fridays.
