Our congratulations go out to Keeley's third-grade student, Jake Magalindan. Jake received a 3rd place ribbon in the chess category at the UIL district competition.

Congratulations to two students, Kaylah Delaney and Clarence Williams, who were the recipients of the Goldie Locke EXCEL Award for their academic achievement and hard work.

Julian Matamoros and Elena Capuchino are the recipients of the Joe Garcia Award. They represent Keeley as role models who exemplify a positive attitude, hard work, and dedication towards their school work and teachers. Congratulations!

Keeley's amazing librarian, Mrs. Riland, is challenging all students to read 50 books between March 3 and May 1 in celebration of Read Across America. For every 25 books read, students will receive a prize. Happy reading.

Mr. Sims was honored for his dedication and passion for his work. GEF surprised him with well-deserved recognition and a special treat. Mr. Sims gives so much to the students in the FBE classroom, creating an impact that words can hardly describe. We are so grateful to celebrate you. You are truly GISD Unmatched!

The fourth grading period runs from March 24 to May 23.

May 23 is the last day of school.


Today is the last day of classes. High school students will be released early from school in the afternoon. Staff will stay for staff development.
