Mrs. Sheri Taylor, Principal

My name is Sheri Taylor and I am the Principal at Keeley Elementary. This 2019-20 school year will mark my 23rd year serving as an educator in Garland ISD. I am a Garland girl at heart; starting as a Weaver Eagle, moving on to become a Sellers Shark and, of course, being a Garland Owl. Gig'em Owls!

Throughout my career, I have held a variety of positions that have helped me gain an understanding of what it truly means to educate a child. My role as an elementary instructor taught me never to underestimate the importance of a child's educational foundation as a catalyst to their success. As a district support specialist, working with Pre-K through 12th grade teachers and administrators, I have discovered that the most important pieces to the educational puzzle are the teachers and their impact on each student they serve.

I am excited to be a part of the Keeley Elementary family. Go Cowboys!

Mr. Patrick Beacham, Assistant Principal

Mr. Beacham joined GISD as an administrator in August 2006. Following a successful tenure in Dallas ISD as a teacher and bus driver, Mr. Beacham accepted a position in Garland ISD as an administrator at Lyles Middle School. He worked as an assistant principal at Herfurth Elementary and Davis Elementary before joining Keeley.

Mr. Beacham previously served three years as the campus representative on the District Educational Improvement Council (DEIC) and in 2017 joined the Keeley staff as assistant principal. We are happy to have him as part of our family.

Office staff

Please meet our wonderful office staff. We have Natalie Galitz as our school secretary, Lily Hernandez as our data clerk, and Alissa Stelling as our office aide.  You will see their smiling faces when entering Keeley. They will help you with any questions you may have concerning the school and students.

Shelly Tarr is our school nurse and she enjoys interacting with the students while promoting healthy habits and wellness.
