Hello Fifth Graders and Families of Kimberlin Academy for Excellence! We’re excited to embark on this final year of elementary school with our Knights. This year, students will dive into captivating chapter books, write engaging stories and research reports, master fractions and long division, and explore the wonders of science, history, and civics through hands-on challenges and learning games. They will have opportunities to take on leadership roles, work independently, and support classmates with respect—all while living our P.R.I.D.E. values of Purpose, Responsibility, Integrity, Determination, and Excellence. Fifth grade will be both meaningful and fun!
Thank you for entrusting us with this important year! Fifth grade focuses on building independence, critical thinking, and strong study habits to prepare for middle school. Communication is essential—families can expect messages about family nights and parent conferences to come regularly through Dojo. We’re always available by call or email and believe that working together makes communication most effective.
Together, we’ll make this fifth-grade year enriching, empowering, and unforgettable!
