September 22-26

Times for Shopping:

FOR STUDENTS ONLY: 8 AM - 3 PM daily all forms of payment accepted (cash, credit card, eWallet, Apple Pay, checks)

  • Teachers will designate appropriate shopping times for their students during the day
  • Book Fair is closed during Arrival/Dismissal times (7:30-8:00 and 3:30-3:50)

FOR FAMILIES: 3:50 - 4:30 PM daily no cash accepted during this time

New GISD list

Nearly one-third of our Kinder-2nd grade students voted YOSHI, THE SEA TURTLE GENIUS as their favorite from the list. If you haven't read that one, you might want to. There are so many good discussion points from this true story. The winning GISD book has not yet been announced.

The Garland Library Services department follows state law and is committed to maintaining an open and transparent ordering process for library materials. See the link below to review library materials that are currently under consideration for purchase. The lists will be available for public review for at least 30 days before final board approval.
