The Kimberlin String Program is designed for 4th and 5th grade students wishing to play violin, viola, cello, string bass, or harp.

Students need no prior musical training to enroll in group classes ranging in size from 10 to 30 students. Lessons are given weekly during W.I.N. (What I Need) block of the school day.

All 4th-grade students attend a Garland Symphony Orchestra concert each year. The Garland Symphony Orchestra's website is an awesome resource.

The Dallas Symphony website is also a great source of information. See and hear every instrument; listen to pieces from different composers; play music memory, music theory, and music history games.

The New York Philharmonic Orchestra is one of the best orchestra sites for children on the internet today. (Many games, viewing, and listening sites)
