Item 1: Welcome & Introductions
Presenter: Dr. Tiffany Kirksey

Item 2: RapidID/Workday
Presenter: Dr. Tiffany Kirksey
Time Allotted: 5 minutes

  • Appreciation extended to all for their dedication and hard work during the onboarding of students to Workday and the implementation of RapidID
  • Workday Transition
    • Students are now actively using Workday to attend classes and manage their academic information
    • Students may experience some differences in navigation compared to the previous system (e.g., updating contact info, checking course completion)
    • Support resources are available, including:
      • Instructional videos - https://www.dallascollege.edu/students/workday/
      • In-person assistance from Success Coaches
  • RapidID Rollout
    • RapidID was implemented in response to a state-driven cell phone use policy change
    • A small group of students, particularly those taught by credentialed high school instructors, may not have set up their accounts yet
    • Review any student lists provided to identify those who have not claimed their RapidID accounts
    • Teams are encouraged to reach out with any questions or for help supporting students through the setup process

      • If students need assistance, they can submit support requests via the Need Help form linked on the login page

Item 3: Student Resources

  • Resource Awareness & Accessibility
  • Academic Support Services
    • Free tutoring is available to all students, including evenings and weekends
  • Success Coaches
    • Coaches are available at many high schools to support students with questions about Dallas College and academic challenges
    • Contact your Educational Partnerships liaison to identify your school’s coach
  • Basic Needs Support
    • Additional services include:
      • Clothing closets
      • DART passes
      • Food pantries
  • Library Services
    • Librarians are available for virtual or in-person sessions at high schools

Item 4: Partner Semester Support
Presenter: Dr. Tiffany Kirksey
Time Allotted: 5 minutes

  • On-Campus Support
    • Senior Managers and Senior Program Managers are actively visiting high schools to provide direct support
    • These visits are meant to assist both staff and students with any needs or questions related to dual credit programming
    • Schools are encouraged to share feedback or request regular visits through their Educational Partnerships liaison
  • Monthly Campus Meetings
    • Regular meetings will be held at campuses to provide real-time updates and resources
    • Topics include enrollment processes, course building, and new student resources
  • Semesterly Partner Meeting
    • A formal meeting will be held once per semester to discuss broader updates and initiatives
  • Invitation for Feedback & Ideas
    • Partners are encouraged to reach out with questions, needs, or new ideas to enhance student academic experiences
    • The team is open to exploring new possibilities that support student success

Item 5: Assurance Page Timelines

  • Communications Sent Regarding Assurance Pages
    • Partners received two recent emails about assurance pages due to changes in the TEA process
    • Updated communications were sent to reflect the new requirements
  • Timing & Deadlines
    • Assurance pages will only be available after the application is submitted
    • Partners are asked to submit assurance pages by October 30 to allow processing before the November 21 deadline
  • Support for New Applicants
    • New applicants planning to apply for a planning grant for ECHS or P-TECH should contact their Dean immediately

Item 6: Deadline and Due Dates Calendar Review

  • Deadlines & Due Dates Calendar
    • Calendar was sent last week; contact EP liaison, Manager, or Senior Program Manager if not received
  • Spring Registration Timeline
    • Opens October 20
    • Final changes to control sections due Friday (prior to Oct 20)
  • Key Dates for Rosters
    • Schedule goes live: October 6
    • Blended rosters due: October 13
    • Controlled rosters due: October 31
    • Control sections returned: October 20
  • New Requirements Due to Workday Transition
    • New student applications are due: November 14
    • TSIA eligibility scores for students over fifteen credit hours due: December 5
