PTA stands for Parent Teacher Association.  Our mission is to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children. 

• Get connected - PTA is a wonderful opportunity to build powerful relationships and access important school resources.
• Amplify your voice - PTA allows you to have a voice in decisions that affect you and your family.  Within PTA, you can find a community of advocates who share your interests and concerns.  You can also help create a positive change in our school, community, and nation.
• Help support students - Your membership makes a big difference by helping fund many things such as:
  • classroom technology
  • educational programs
  • student recognition
  • study materials
  • family engagement events
  • field trip transportation

A membership form sent home with your student at the beginning of the school year can be completed and returned, or the form can be picked up from the school office.  Alternatively, you can sign up online at the PTA website.  Anyone can join.  Membership is $10 per person.

• Amazon Smile - When you shop AmazonSmile, a 0.5% donation of your eligible purchases is donated ot our PTA by AmazonSmile.  Sign up at smile.amazon.com.  Simply select Liberty Grove Elementary PTA as your favorite charity.
• World Wear Project - Liberty Grove PTA earns $0.12 per pound for every pound of shoes, clothing, purses, wallets, belts, hats, caps, backpacks, toys and stuffed animals that are placed in the donation bin behind Liberty Grove Elementary.
• Box Tops - To earn money for the school, you can download the Box Tops for Education app.  Add Liberty Grove Elementary as your school.  A picture of your grocery store receipt can be added, and your box top points are sent in automatically.
• Spirit Nights - Support Liberty Grove by participating in our monthly Spirit Nights.  A portion of the sales go back to the Liberty Grove PTA!  Check out the calendar on our PTA website for more information.

Popcorn, chips, fruit snacks, granola bars, apple sauce pouches, and water will be sold by PTA every 3rd Friday of the month.  It may be the 3rd Thursday if needed, with notice.  Students may purchase these special snacks/drinks to enjoy during the school day.  Snack cards are available for purchase by sending $5 in an envelope marked "Snack Card".  Please include your child's name and teacher.   Or, snack cards can be purchased at the PTA website.
