I am the proud Assistant Principal at Luna Elementary. I had the privilege of helping to build our Montessori program at Luna first as a Lower Elementary teacher and then as the Assistant Principal. I am grateful that I was able to take part in establishing the Montessori Philosophy of Education at Luna.

I was born and raised in the south Garland area and am a product of our distinguished district, going to Garland ISD schools. I received my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas Dallas and my Master’s degree from Stephen F. Austin State University. I have continued my career in Education in Garland ISD for the last 20 years.

I love my family. I have two daughters, one dog, one cat, one fire-bellied toad, and a wonderful husband. We enjoy spending time and traveling with our big extended family. Our favorite thing to do is to cheer on our favorite teams when they play. Go Dallas Mavericks, Texas Rangers, and The Frisco Rough Riders!

I am committed to the students and families not only at Luna but in our district and community. It is my pleasure and privilege to continue serving our district and campus as I work to inspire Luna’s vision of nurturing lifelong learning for our students.
