Principal
Ansil Howard is an esteemed educational leader with a robust academic background and extensive experience in fostering academic excellence. Currently serving as Principal at Lyles Collegiate, Ansil is dedicated to shaping the future of education through innovative practices and student-focused initiatives.
Ansil's journey in education is complemented by his service in the United States Air Force, where he served as an avionic technician. His military experience instilled in him discipline, leadership skills, and a strong sense of duty, qualities that have profoundly influenced his approach to education and leadership.
Ansil holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the University of Texas, where he developed a strong analytical thinking and problem-solving foundation. His commitment to education led him to pursue a Master's degree in Education Administration from Argosy University, equipping him with the skills needed to excel in educational leadership.
Recognizing the importance of integrating technology with education, Ansil obtained a Master's degree in Information Systems from the University of Phoenix, further enhancing his ability to leverage technology for educational advancement.
Driven by a passion for transformative leadership, Ansil pursued a Doctorate in Education Leadership from Lamar University. His doctoral studies gave him advanced insights into educational policy, organizational management, and instructional leadership, preparing him for significant leadership roles.

Jennifer Fowler
Associate principal
Jennifer Fowler is an educational leader with 24 years of experience. Jennifer's compassionate approach and natural talent for fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement have significantly benefited the organizations she has been part of. She remains current on industry trends and best practices in learning and development, continuously enhancing program offerings to meet evolving needs.
Jennifer's professional expertise spans learning design, data analysis, process improvement, training and development, impact measurements, customer relationship management, curriculum design, performance evaluation, and strategic planning. Her ability to develop and implement effective training programs using instructional design methodologies is complemented by her skill in analyzing data to identify gaps in knowledge and skills, designing targeted solutions to enhance performance.
Currently serving as the Associate Principal at Lyles Collegiate in Garland, TX, Jennifer has previously held the role of Principal at the same district. In her tenure, she has overseen school operations, led annual strategic planning processes, and improved student outcomes significantly.
Before her current role, Jennifer was the School Assistant Principal at Stafford Middle School in Frisco, TX, where she assisted in day-to-day operations and academic functions, developed comprehensive discipline plans, and collaborated with teachers to support student academic achievement. As the K-12 Science Instructional Design Facilitator at Garland Independent School District, she utilized data-driven decision-making to enhance student performance, developed training programs for new teachers, and led the development and integration of district-wide STEAM projects.
Jennifer began her career as a science teacher at Classical Center at Brandenburg Middle School and Lancaster Junior High School, where she demonstrated her passion for teaching and commitment to student success.
Jennifer holds a Master of Education in Differentiated Instruction from Concordia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication/Public Relations from Texas State..
Outside of her professional life, Jennifer is married to her husband, Matt, and together they have three children. Jennifer enjoys reading, going to the beach, and playing with her kids, finding joy and relaxation in these activities.
Gabrielle Craig
Assistant principal
Gabrielle Craig graduated from Texas Wesleyan University in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in Education. She began her teaching career in Dallas ISD, teaching 5th grade Math, 8th grade Math, and Algebra 1 at Comstock Middle School, K. B. Polk, and Seagoville Middle. Because of her tremendous gains and district leading scores in Algebra 1, she was promoted to Campus Instructional Coach over Math at Seagoville Middle School. She received her master's degree in educational leadership from Grand Canyon University in 2011.
Gabrielle was promoted to Campus Instructional Coach at Dade Middle School for the first year of the Academic Campus Excellence initiative. Through Gabrielle’s leadership, Dade was able to earn distinctions in Math and Science during the 4 years that she served as CIC. She was promoted again to continue the ACE initiative with Garland ISD as an instructional coach at Lyles Middle School in 2018. Once more, Gabrielle led the Math department to the highest gains in the state of Texas as Lyles earned distinctions in Math and Science.
Gabrielle would describe herself as a life-long learner who has a passion for helping people. Her instructional philosophy is grounded in backwards planning design and data-driven instruction. She loves to serve low-income and underperforming schools and she truly lives by the adage that all students can perform at the same level when given the resources and quality instruction.
Gabrielle enjoys spending time with her family and serving in ministry in her free time. She enjoys music, travel, quality time with friends and family, and going to concerts and sporting events.
As Assistant Principal at Lyles Collegiate, Gabrielle continues to inspire and lead with dedication and a commitment to educational excellence.

With over a decade of dedicated service in education, Cynthia brings a wealth of experience and passion to Lyles Collegiate. Beginning as a data clerk and bilingual aide, she spent six years supporting students and staff with meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment.
For the past six years, Cynthia has been the cornerstone of Lyles Collegiate, ensuring smooth operations and efficient communication within the school community. Known for her warm demeanor and organizational prowess, she is pivotal in managing administrative tasks, supporting teachers, and assisting students and parents.
Cynthia, a proud parent of three children, has a deep-rooted connection to the Garland Independent School District. All three of her children attend or have graduated from GISD schools, which has further fueled her dedication to supporting the educational journey of every student in the district.
Outside of work, Cynthia cherishes spending time with her family, playing with her dog Woody, and enjoying shopping excursions. She also loves taking care of her grandson Noah, finding joy in watching him grow and learn. Cynthia embodies the values of commitment, compassion, and community that define GISD, making her role as building secretary not just a job but a heartfelt contribution to the district's educational excellence.
