Academics
Memorial Pathway Academy
Memorial Pathway Academy is a unique education facility dedicated to serving several populations of students. This campus houses the Newcomer ESL High School program, the Newcomer ESL Middle School program, and the Non-traditional High School program. Newcomer students are identified when they enroll in the district or by their current high school or middle school LPAC.
Additionally, MPA facilitates the Local Graduation Committee (LGC) program to help select non-graduates become graduates under newly revised TEA Administrative Code 101.3024.
Students graduating from Memorial Pathway Academy receive a Garland ISD high school diploma and have the opportunity to participate in formal commencement services at the Curtis Culwell Center with all other Garland ISD high schools.
