Parent dontated these toys

At MPA, we often talk about our school family, but this week, we saw that family in action in a truly beautiful way. It all began with one parent, a trunk full of items, and a desire to give back.

A generous parent recently reached out to our campus with an incredible donation of a collection of high-quality toys and baby items. Our data clerk was there to receive the delivery, but the magic did not stop at the front door. Understanding the impact these items could have, our principal’s secretary and librarian teamed up to ensure every piece was perfect. They spent time cleaning and prepping the toys, transforming a generous gift into a polished pop-up shop right in the heart of our library.

Rather than letting these items go to waste or be thrown away, they were given a brand-new purpose. The library was transformed into a space where students who are parents could find essentials for their own little ones, students with younger siblings could pick out a special surprise to take home, and staff members could find toys and items for their growing families.

This was not just about the objects themselves; it was about sustainability and community. By giving these items a second life, we kept them out of the landfill and put them directly into the hands of those who will cherish them. Seeing the smiles on the faces of our students and staff as they selected items was a powerful reminder of what happens when we look out for one another. To the parent who made this possible, we say thank you. Your generosity did not just provide toys; it provided joy, support, and a sense of belonging.
