GISD believes that "college and career readiness" begins in elementary school and encompasses a strong academic foundation. Additionally, GISD has identified some key steps students should take to get ready, setting the stage for future success.

Khan Academy offers practice exercises, instructional videos, and a personalized learning dashboard that empower learners to study at their own pace in and outside of the classroom.
