Back to School Information

A Message from Dr. Ellis, Principal of Naaman Forest High School.

Please read the following information about school hours and calendar, back to school forms, and curbside meals.

Failure Prevention/Grade Recovery Quarter 1

Students who failed one or more course have been placed in one of two grade recovery options:

Option 1: Grade Recovery on Edgenuity, which is an opportunity to complete quarter one material online at the student's own pace.

Maximum Grade: 70. Due Date: December 14, 2020.

  • Username: G20-Student ID Password: Student ID (without s)

  • Be sure the course listed is the course you failed for Quarter 1.

  • Course Example: [ELA] English II-QI.

If there is a mistake or you have questions, please contact Mrs. Casteel, vacastee@garlandisd.net, before you begin.

Option 2: Teacher-Led Grade Recovery, is an opportunity to complete some or all quarter one material led by the students' teachers.
Maximum Grade: 70. Due Date: December 14, 2020

Please remember Quarter 1 Grade Recovery is in addition to attending Quarter 2 classes, completing all required work, and obtaining passing grades. This is the opportunity to bring your grades to passing, stay on track for graduation, and not have to repeat these courses next year.  We want all NFHS Rangers passing!

Please contact Mrs. Casteel, vacastee@garlandisd.net, if you have any questions.

Back to school forms

Back to school forms for the 2020-21 school year are now available only online in skyward. Before the start of the school year, parents are asked to complete a series of forms to update student information for the new school year.
