With over a decade of dedicated service in education, Cynthia Arreozola brings a wealth of experience, professionalism, and a passion for serving students, staff, and families to Naaman Forest High School. She began her career with Garland ISD as a data clerk and bilingual aide, where she began supporting students and staff with exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to creating a welcoming and supportive school environment.

Cynthia then served as the building secretary at Lyles Collegiate Middle School for eight years, where she became known for her organizational skills, positive attitude, and ability to keep daily campus operations running smoothly. Throughout her time at Lyles, she worked closely with administrators, teachers, parents, and students, providing outstanding customer service and ensuring effective communication across the campus.

Now serving as the secretary at Naaman Forest High School, Cynthia is excited to continue supporting the Ranger community. She is committed to creating a positive and efficient environment where students, families, and staff feel welcomed and supported every day.

As a proud Garland ISD parent, Cynthia has a strong personal connection to the district. Her three children attended or graduated from GISD schools, giving her a firsthand appreciation for the district's commitment to student success. This personal experience inspires her dedication to helping every student reach their full potential.

Outside of work, Cynthia enjoys spending quality time with her family, shopping, and making special memories with her grandchildren Noah and Braulito. She values faith, family, and community and is honored to contribute to the tradition of excellence at Naaman Forest High School.

Mrs. Amanda Gearin is entering her fourth year at Naaman Forest High School and her fourth year with Garland ISD. With eight years in education, she is dedicated to creating a supportive school environment where students feel safe, valued, and empowered to succeed.

Originally from Leesville, Louisiana, Mrs. Gearin earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology before completing a Master of Education in Curriculum and Learning with a concentration in Trauma and Resilience. Her educational background has equipped her with a deep understanding of the importance of meeting students' academic, social, and emotional needs.

Prior to serving in campus leadership, Mrs. Gearin spent five years as a BASE teacher and has served as a Behavior Intervention Specialist, helping students develop the skills and support systems needed for success both in and out of the classroom. These experiences have strengthened her passion for building positive relationships and creating environments where every student can thrive.

Mrs. Gearin's educational philosophy is captured in the phrase, "We must Maslow before we Bloom!" She believes that students learn best when their basic needs are met and they feel safe, supported, and connected. By prioritizing relationships and well-being, she strives to create a school culture where students are prepared to reach their fullest academic potential.

Outside of school, Mrs. Gearin enjoys spending time with her family and joking that she “enjoys her mortgage"—a reminder that she values the life and home she has built with those she loves.

Adriana Thompson is entering her fifth year at Naaman Forest High School as the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) Facilitator. As she begins her 28th year in education, she remains passionate about helping every student overcome barriers to success by providing the academic, behavioral, and social-emotional supports they need to thrive.

Raised in Tyler, Texas, Mrs. Thompson earned a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies before completing a Master's degree in Educational Theory and Practice. Her extensive experience in education has equipped her with a deep understanding of student learning, intervention, and instructional support.

Throughout her career, Mrs. Thompson has served in a variety of educational roles, including 16 years as a seventh-grade English/Reading teacher, four years as a middle school Reading Intervention Teacher, and three years as a middle school Instructional Coach. These experiences have strengthened her commitment to meeting the diverse needs of students while supporting teachers in providing high-quality instruction.

Mrs. Thompson's educational philosophy is rooted in the belief that students should be met where they are and empowered to move forward toward success. She believes it is the responsibility of educators to create safe, supportive learning environments where meaningful relationships are built and every student is encouraged to reach their full potential. Inspired by B.B. King’s words, "The beautiful thing about learning is that no one can take it away from you," Mrs. Thompson believes that educators must model lifelong learning while always giving their very best to the students they serve.

Outside of school, Mrs. Thompson enjoys taking road trips, reading, and spending quality time with her family.
 

Kim Stewart is entering her fifth year as an Instructional Coach at Naaman Forest High School. With 17 years in education, including 10 years in Garland ISD, she is passionate about supporting and empowering teachers and fostering a culture where every learner has the opportunity to succeed.

Originally from Nixa, Missouri, Mrs. Stewart earned a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education with a concentration in Social Studies before completing a Master's degree in Secondary Education Administration. Her educational experiences have prepared her to think outside the box and lead with purpose. Her commitment to teacher and student success is first and foremost.

In addition to being an Instructional Coach, Mrs. Stewart has served in a variety of educational roles, including teacher, coach. These diverse experiences have strengthened her belief in the power of relationships, continuous growth, and instructional excellence to positively impact student achievement.

Mrs. Stewart's educational philosophy is rooted in the belief that learning is a lifelong journey. She believes every person has the ability to learn and recognizes that learning looks different for every individual. By meeting teachers where they are, providing meaningful support, and high expectations, she strives to create an environment where all teachers and students can reach their full potential.

Outside of school, Mrs. Stewart enjoys gardening, traveling, spending quality time with her family, and relaxing by the pool with a good book.

Officer Jacob Puckett is entering his third year as the School Resource Officer at Naaman Forest High School. With 16 years of law enforcement experience, including five years serving as a School Resource Officer in Garland ISD, he is dedicated to building positive relationships with students while helping ensure a safe, welcoming learning environment for the entire school community.

A Garland, Texas native, Officer Puckett has proudly served all 16 years of his law enforcement career with the Garland Police Department. His experience and commitment to public service have equipped him with the skills to support students, staff, and families while fostering trust and promoting campus safety.

Officer Puckett became a School Resource Officer because of his passion for working with young people. He believes that building positive connections with students helps create a school culture where everyone feels respected, supported, and empowered to succeed. Through mentorship, guidance, and collaboration, he strives to be a trusted resource both inside and outside the classroom.

As Naaman Forest's School Resource Officer, Officer Puckett is committed to partnering with students, staff, families, and the community to maintain a safe campus while encouraging positive relationships that extend beyond law enforcement.

Outside of school, Officer Puckett enjoys spending quality time with his family and taking advantage of the outdoors whenever he can.
