NFHS Students Place in Día de los Muertos Contest

Art Club and Hispanic Youth Organization participated in the downtown celebration of Día de los Muertos Ofrenda contest. 

1st Place was Art Club Sponsored by Chelsie Lokke. 

Please congratulate the following students that worked on this 1st place entry: Jennifer Garcia, Haylee Godfrey, Deanna Teniente, Andy Garcia, and Maxine Escanlar. Their Ofrenda honored the lives lost to school shootings from 1995-present day.

2nd Place was Hispanic Youth Organization Sponsored by Adan Barajas. 

Please congratulate the following students that worked on this 2nd place entry: Yareni Velazquez, Diana Estrada, Aliyah Thomas. David Rivera, and Abigail Ramirez. Their Ofrenda honored Hispanic Youth that past away before 18 that made an impact on their community.
