Acting students focus on the development of performance skills through interactive study. Classes involve movement, group games, teamwork, scene work, monologues, and improvisation. Classroom structure focuses on group work, games, warm ups, and practice on our feet. Students explore theatre from various perspectives, cultures, styles and approaches. Emphasis is placed on teamwork, ensemble and collaboration in the creative process

Our theatre Production class is our Honors theatre class. Students are enrolled by audition and interview only. Students in this class are heavily involved in the department productions and work in class on upcoming projects either on the acting or technical side. Students continue to hone their skills through classroom study including advanced actor training, resume building, technical skills, portfolios and apply these skills to our productions.
