NGHS Cheerleading

Step 1:

Fill out the interest form located here! 

By filling out this interest form, we will receive your Garland ISD email address so that you may be added to the tryout Canvas page!

Step 2:

Attend a mandatory interest meeting with a parent or guardian! The meeting will be April 4th @ 5:30 in the NGHS cafeteria, will discuss cost, and all things cheer!

Step 3:

Practice your skills

Whether you have never cheered before or are new to UIL style cheerleading, we have practice videos for you! Check out our Canvas page for how-to videos so you can perfect your skills before tryouts!

Step 4:

Tryout week

Attend the following events during tryout week!

Monday 4/25: Learn Material 4pm-7pm

Tuesday 4/26: Learn Material 4pm-7pm

Wednesday 4/27: Mock Tryouts 4pm-7pm

Thursday 4/28: Open Gym 4pm-6pm

Friday 4/29: Open Gym 4pm-6pm

Saturday 4/30: Cheer Tryouts @ Memorial Pathway Academy - Warm-Up Starts @10:30 am
