North Garland High School Counseling Department is devoted to guiding students towards their fullest potential.  Our vision is to foster an environment of personal growth, social responsibility, and academic excellence through critical thinking, purposeful reading, writing, communication, and collaboration skills.  This is crucial for success in college, careers and life.

Through a comprehensive counseling program, we form strategic partnerships between the school, families, and the community, ensuring each student experiences a tailored curriculum and gains access to high-quality opportunities for self-directed-growth.  Our  mission is to provide an inclusive program that meets the diverse needs of our community, aiming to cultivate meaningful connections that lead to empowerment of students, while promoting academic achievement, personal and social development, and proficiency in vital skills for life.
