Welcome
Parents, welcome to the North Garland High School! Our goal is to provide resources here especially helpful for parents both in supporting your students, and in becoming more involved at North Garland High School.
One important resource available to parents is gained by setting up your Skyward Family Access account. With Skyward, parents and students have an easy-to-access line of communication to current attendance, grades, course schedules and more.
Parents, we also want to invite you to participate in campus and district activities! Volunteer opportunities are an excellent way to become involved. For more information, please visit our Volunteer pages, and our Campus Improvement and Parent Involvement page.
Thank you, and welcome to North Garland High School!
GISD parent workshops & events calendar
North Garland High School and Garland ISD are excited to offer parents the opportunity to attend district workshops offered throughout the year focusing on parenting strategies, ideas on how to get more involved in school, and information to help your child be successful on campus and in life.
The Parent Event Calendar is a resource to help keep track of upcoming campus and district parent events.
Academic supports and tutorials
The faculty, administration and staff of North Garland High School invite all parents and guardians to join with us in supporting your student's academic and overall success in school. North Garland has in place academic support systems and tutorial programs designed to both help students get ahead in their coursework, and importantly, to provide opportunities for students to receive additional help with their coursework when it may become indicated.
We encourage parents and students to become familiar with the academic supports and tutorial programs that are available at North Garland High School so that you may incorporate them into your educational efforts.
For more information, please visit our Academic Supports and Tutorials section.
Free and reduced lunch program
Parents and students, the National School Lunch Program is a federally assisted meal program operating in public schools including North Garland High School. It provides nutritionally balanced, low-cost or free lunches to children each school day. The program was established under the National School Lunch Act, signed by President Harry Truman in 1946.
To apply for participation in the program, or to renew your participation in the program, parents now can apply on-line!
Attendance awareness
