Assistant Principal
I am honored and excited to join the Northlake Elementary family as Assistant Principal. For nearly 20 years, I have been privileged to serve students, families, and educators, and I firmly believe that strong relationships are at the heart of a successful school community. My passion for education began in the classroom and has grown into a commitment to supporting students, empowering teachers, and partnering with families to ensure every child reaches their fullest potential.
I earned a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from East Texas A&M University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Multidisciplinary Studies from Stephen F. Austin State University. Throughout my career, I have worked to create learning environments where students feel safe, valued, challenged, and inspired to learn. I believe that education extends beyond academics; it is about helping children develop confidence, character, curiosity, and the skills they need to thrive in an ever-changing world.
As a leader, I am committed to Garland ISD’s mission of ensuring all students graduate prepared for college, a career, and life. I look forward to building meaningful partnerships with our families, supporting our dedicated staff, and celebrating the unique strengths of every student. Together, we will continue fostering a culture of excellence, belonging, and lifelong learning at Northlake Elementary.
