Meet Ms. Alexis Sculark
Ms. Alexis Sculark is the music teacher at Northlake Elementary and is entering her fourth year at Northlake and her sixth year as a Texas certified educator. She is passionate about inspiring students to discover the joy of music while helping them build confidence, creativity, and a lifelong appreciation for the arts.
Ms. Sculark earned her Bachelor of Music Education degree with a concentration in Voice from Alcorn State University. In addition to her work in the classroom, she has performed professionally as a vocalist with jazz ensembles and as a solo performer. She also teaches private voice and piano lessons in the Garland area.
At Northlake, Ms. Sculark directs the Northlake Eagle Chorus, where students develop their vocal technique, music literacy, teamwork, and performance skills through engaging rehearsals and performance opportunities. She is dedicated to creating a welcoming classroom where every child feels encouraged to explore, create, and succeed through music.
When she's not teaching or performing, Ms. Sculark enjoys continuing to grow as a musician and sharing her love of music with students of all ages.
