Testing for students in grades 8-12.
All students have to take a college readiness exam (SAT, ACT or TSI-A) before they can attend college classes. Tests like the PSAT/NMSQT and the PSAT 8/9 give students the chance to practice for tests like the SAT and prepare for the future.
Benefits
The PSAT 8/9 helps students plan for high school. Test results can be used to identify potential students for advanced classes and magnet programs.
The PSAT/NMSQT is used to determine eligibility and qualification for the National Merit Scholarship Program. Learn more on the district's PSAT and SAT page.
