Disa McEwen

I am thrilled to have the opportunity to serve as principal of Parsons Prekindergarten School. This is my 20th year in education.

I taught Special Education, PreK and 3rd grade before serving as an Elementary Support Coach servicing 10 campuses across the district. Prior to being named principal here, I served as the principal and assistant principal at Hickman Elementary.

I look forward to working with you and your child to ensure that we have a wonderful and productive year. Honored to be your child’s first principal. Proud to be a Parsons Panda.

Assistant Principal

Diane Alexander

I am Diane Alexander and I am honored to serve as Assistant Principal at Parsons Prekindergarten. I started my teaching career in Plano ISD in 2010, where I taught grades 3-4 and Special Education. Later, I moved to Dallas ISD and taught 3rd and 5th grade before serving four years as an Instructional Reading Coach. I am now entering my sixth year as an Assistant Principal.

My educational journey began at Dallas County Community College (Dallas College), and then continued to Texas A&M Commerce (TAMU), where I earned my undergrad degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, and Southern Methodist University (SMU), where I obtained my graduate degree in Urban Educational Leadership.

My husband and I have four amazing children ages 23, 25, 33, and 37. We are a family of laughter and fun. In our free time, we enjoy traveling with our children, watching movies and sports, dancing, listening to music, and playing cards and board games.
