At Parsons, our staff integrates Fine Arts into the classroom daily.
Walk into any of our prekindergarten classrooms and you will notice that at some point our students will be singing and dancing or even listening to music while they work. Through music, our students learn about patterns, movement, listening skills, rhymes, new vocabulary and many other academic skills.
Art is very important for a Pre-K student. Through art, our students work on expressing their feelings and emotions, strengthening fine motor skills, use different mediums like paint and crayons, make choices and other academic skills. We love to display our students art work around the school to show what a great job they can do.
