Get to know your counselor
My name is Lindsey King. I am thrilled to be the School Counselor at Parsons Pre-K. My goal is to support students and families in order for them to have a successful school year. I am really excited to be a part of the Panda team and help provide a positive start to your child's education. I graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and received a Master’s Degree in School Counseling. I hold certifications in School Counseling (K-12), General Education (PK-6) and ESL (K-12). I have taught kindergarten and 1st grade. I have served as a school counselor in Richardson ISD as well as on another Garland ISD campus. I look forward to working with the students, staff, and families of Parsons.
If you have concerns about your child and would like to talk to me, you can contact me by email LKing@garlandisd.net or by calling 972-675-8065 ext: 45756. If there is anything I can do to help your child be successful, please let me know.
