Watch D.O.G.S.

Watch Dogs Logo

Watch D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) is the father involvement initiative of the National Center for Fathering that organizes fathers and father figures in order to provide positive male role models for the students and to enhance school security. Our school has not joined the growing number of schools in GISD who are implementing this program. The Watch D.O.G.S. is unique program that allows father figures to spend some time with the child in the classroom as well as with other kids from other grade levels. They help by providing a positive male role model for children and help keep children safe during lunch and recess. In order to participate in this program, all applicants must have a full background check. For more information about this program, or any questions about parent involvement, please contact Mr. Jenkins or 972-463-7568.
