Air Force Junior ROTC magnet
Air Force Junior ROTC (AFJROTC) educates and trains high school cadets in the areas of leadership, community service, teamwork, communication, responsibility, personal accountability, and character. The entire curriculum is grounded in the Air Force Core Values of Integrity First, Service Before Self, and Excellence in All We Do.
AFJROTC is a single blocked academic class, and physical education (PE) credit is awarded for enrollment and participation in the program. Students accepted into AFJROTC incur NO commitment to serve in the military. Students interested in joining may apply during the school year for enrollment in the Fall semester of the following year, and selection of participants will be based on the student's completed application, personal interview with the instructors, academic and disciplinary history, and other factors. Any questions may be directed to the Senior Aerospace Science Instructor, Lieutenant Colonel (Retired) Brett Gooden.
