What is career and technical education?

Career and Technical Education (CTE) courses are organized into sixteen career clusters, providing students an introduction to specific career areas and options for further education or immediate employment. These programs offer students the opportunity to earn industry certifications and college credit while in high school.

Did you know you can become CCMR certified through CTE classes? 

College, Career & Military Readiness (CCMR) is part of the TEA & RHS accountability system to ensure that our students are achieving academic and career standards that show progress and growth through their high school academic journey. 

Take any of the classes listed below and pass the industry certification offered through that class. See your counselor to sign up for any of these CTE classes at your choice of subject meeting.
