PTSA
What is PTA/PTSA?
The Parent Teacher Student Association is an important part of the Rowlett High School family. We hope that all students, parents and staff will take a moment to join the RHS PTA/PTSA.
Why should you join?
- PTA is America’s number one resource for family engagement. PTA has resources to help you and your child at all stages—from cradle to career. PTA provides tips on helping with homework, advice for preparing for parent-teacher conferences and relevant parent education programs. As a PTA member, you’ll be demonstrating to your child the importance you place on his/her education.
- PTA helps you keep up with what’s happening at your school. And you’ll find out what you can do to make a difference for your child and to make your school an even better place.
- PTA has a network that supports you. PTA functions are opportunities to meet others and discuss issues of importance in your school. The PTA community is large, with 600,000 members in Texas - all working toward the common goal of helping children.
- PTA provides opportunities for growth. By volunteering with your PTA, you can put your skills to good use to benefit your child’s education. You can also tackle new challenges that will help you grow.
