1st Snack Attack

Dear Schrade Families,

On behalf of the administrators here at Schrade, I would like to take this opportunity to apologize for the system delays that occurred during our first PTA Snack Attack 23-24 event that took place Friday afternoon September 8th.  There were factors that occurred that caused a significant amount of students to not be able to purchase items during the event.  Some of the mitigating factors included an unforeseen delay with setup that resulted in the team not having enough time in the remainder of the school day to allow all students the opportunity to purchase desired items.  Despite all factors causing this undesirable situation and disappointing experience for a number of our students, the administrative team made every effort to adjust the schedule to accommodate all eligible participants.  Unfortunately, we were unable to meet the demand within the allotted time.  We would like to extend our most sincere apology to our deserving student body as well as parents/guardians.

This being said, we are planning to meet as a Leadership Team to discuss ways to make this process more efficient and to allow time for all students to participate that have earned the right to do so.  This is not only a fundraising event for our PTA organization, it is a student incentive that allows us to reward students for doing the right things consistently on our campus.  We do not want to eliminate these opportunities.  Therefore, we are going to provide a much better experience for everyone, especially our students, the next time we plan to have a PTA Snack Attack event.

Again, if your student did not have the opportunity to purchase items on Friday, we sincerely apologize for the missed opportunity.  We can assure you that this moment of dissatisfaction will become a moment of triumph at our next PTA Snack Attack event. We appreciate your understanding.

We would like to thank our PTA President Mrs. Ross and all of the amazing PTA volunteers who worked to organize the event.  We recognize the tremendous amount of effort that goes into planning an event such as this. Thank you for investing your most valuable resource, which is time.  We cannot thank you enough!

Please consider supporting the campus by becoming an active member of our PTA and/or signing up to be a campus volunteer.

Respectfully,

Albert Buckles - Assistant Principal
