School spirit & history
Sellers Middle School is the best choice for your child's education.
Did you know that Garland ISD families have a unique opportunity not available to most other families in North Texas? It's true! You can choose the GISD school that best fits your child, whether it's down the street or across town. We think you should choose Sellers, and here's why:
- Future jobs may be unpredictable, but the world will always need and have great leaders. We teach every student that they are capable of being a leader, and the skills our students amass help them grow into citizens that shape the future.
- Sellers celebrates diversity, equity, and social-emotional wellness by fostering the leadership attributes of self-control, resiliency, courage over fear, planning, empathy, and self-direction.
- Sharks are the top predators because they are flexible, adaptable, always moving forward, relentless, and curious. These are the attributes we build in our students.
- Providing a safe environment to innovate, collaborate, and prepare to be future leaders, our students are taught to be proactive, begin with the end in mind, prioritize, compromise, and listen to others.
We can't wait for you to experience the Sellers difference.
